Osteopath
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Osteopath to join our clinic in Cowes, part-time. Experienced clinicians and new graduates are both welcome. If you are weighing up a move to Phillip Island, or you live in the area and crave something different, we would love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing

Musculoskeletal Osteopathy across the ages - young, old, sport and sedentary. There is plenty of scope to build your ideal caseload from a variety of private and third party funding sources,

Room to develop a special interest. An area to diversify the clinic is Paediatrics, particularly working with babies, though not essential.

If you are newly graduated, you will be mentored from day one, to support you to build and maintain a caseload.

Working alongside Physiotherapists and Myotherapists, in a workplace that is open and committed to a collaborative approach
What we are looking for

AHPRA registration as a Osteopath (or eligibility to register).

Comfortable working with a broad range of ages and presentations. We are skilled generalists first, with room to specialise.

Proven manual therapy and exercise prescription skills.

Active contribution to a positive working environment and growth of the team
Pay and conditions

Excellent wages and flexible pay structure.

Remuneration is above award and negotiable for the right candidate, with the option of commission on top of base wages.

Balance Health is Phillip Island's leading and award winning, Allied Healthcare group, and the evolution of Phillip Island Osteopathy, and Island Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates - founded by Kara Cassells in 2009. Moving into the beautifully renovated old Warley Hospital in 2020, services expanding to include Myotherapy, Remedial Massage, and Lactation Consulting.

You are not thrown in alone. New team members get paid shadowing in their first month, and every new graduate is paired with an experienced clinician.
