Kara Cassells

Clinic Owner,
Senior Physiotherapist, Women's and Men's Health Physiotherapy

Kara graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005 achieving the Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours. Kara was born on Phillip Island and had ambition to become a physiotherapist from a young age, completing work placements with the local Physiotherapist at the time.

Kara danced most of her life and has a keen interest in dance and other sporting injuries. This has further developed into a passion for rehabilitation using Clinical Pilates.

Kara has completed further studies in the McKenzie Method to manage lower back and neck pain. And through experience as a practitioner and further training, she has developed a strong interest in chronic pain management. Kara's combination of exercise, education and manual therapy, proves to be very effective in the management of many conditions. Kara has also completed coursework in the management of Women's and Men's Health, with a special interest in Men's Health.

Balance Health Phillip Island is the creation of Kara Cassells, founder of Island Physiotherapy & Clinical Pilates in 2009. Kara is passionate about creating a supportive workplace for her hardworking staff and is honoured to serve the Phillip Island community.

Kare is currently on maternity leave.
